Members named for reconfigured General Assembly Mid Council Commission
- August 28, 2012
In 2012, the 220th General Assembly of the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.) called for the formation of an administrative commission, appointed by the moderator of the 220th General Assembly (2012), in consultation with the Stated Clerk, with the authority described in the assembly’s action on recommendation 5 of Item 05-12, and that the commission be composed of 14 members. In addition to the authorities granted as a commission, this group is to have responsibilities as a task force to fulfill the tasks defined by the actions on Item 05-12 (recommendations 1-4 and recommendation 7). The membership for action taken on Item 05-12 (recommendation 8) will remain as described in that motion.
