Being granted a visa to come to the United States to work or attend school can be a dream come true for some people. However, this time may also be accompanied by anxiety, making it difficult to consider the rights that come along with a visa. The U.S. Department of State has created a pamphlet that informs people on a non-immigrant visa of their rights while in the US. The pamphlet is an excellent resource and can be accessed at the link below. It includes information on what to do if you, or a worker you know, is being abused or treated unjustly by an employer, as well as other helpful information. It is available in English and several other languages. U.S. Department of State
