Exhibiting at the General Assembly

The Exhibit Hall will be located in Hall A1 & B of the Oregon Convention Center, which is adjacent to where the assembly’s plenary sessions will be held.  A final Exhibit Hall layout and list of exhibitors is now available in the latest version of the Guidebook Event App.

General Assembly theme
This year’s theme, The Hope in Our Calling, from Ephesians 1:18:
“so that, with the eyes of your heart enlightened, you may know what is the hope to which he has called you, what are the riches of his glorious inheritance among the saints” (NRSV)
The Stated Clerk of the General Assembly encourages all exhibitors to consider organizing their exhibits around this theme.

Exhibitor Badges
During move in and move out hours, all persons in the hall will be required to have exhibitor badges, issued by the Exhibit Hall Manager. General Assembly name badges will not be sufficient for admission into the hall during move in and move out. Exhibitor badges will also be necessary for admission into the exhibit hall thirty minutes before the hall opens to the public each day. Each organization will receive 5 badges at registration that can be shared among your staff throughout the week.

Please note that move in will occur from 10:00 am to 8:00 pm Thursday, June 16 and from 8:00 am until the hall opens at 10:00 am on Friday, June 17. Move out will begin on Wednesday, June 22 from 5:30 pm - 9:00 pm and continue Thursday, June 19 from 8:00 am - 1:00 pm.  Please keep in mind the requirement that exhibits must be staffed continuously during the published exhibit hall hours and should remain open during all published hours!

Commissioner and Advisory Delegate Orientation
Once again this year, commissioners and advisory delegates will be oriented to the six agencies of the General Assembly in the Exhibit Hall on Saturday, June 18 from 5:00-7:00 pm.  Therefore, exhibitors not representing one of those six agencies will be asked to vacate their exhibit during that time and only approved representatives of the agencies and commissioners and advisory delegates will be allowed in the hall.  We encourage all other exhibitors to make arrangements to secure items of value and drape your table with a sheet or the like during that time.  Though we will have extra security in place to protect your materials, we cannot make any guarantees.  We understand that this may be disappointing to some exhibitors; however, commissioners and advisory delegates found the time helpful as they perform their duties during the week.  More details will be sent to you at a later time.
