Moderators' Conference 2013 Leadership
Our keynote presenters will be the Rev. Bill Golderer, convening pastor, Broad Street Ministry (Philadelphia) and pastor, Arch Street Presbyterian Church and the Rev. Theresa Cho, associate pastor, St. John's Presbyterian Church (San Francisco). The preacher for opening worship will be the Rev. Dr. Tom Trinidad, Vice-Moderator of the 220th General Assembly. The preacher for closing worship will be the Rev. Dr. Neal Presa, Moderator of the 220th General Assembly.

Rev. Bill Golderer is an emerging Philadelphia Christian leader who pastors the Arch Street Presbyterian Church and the Broad Street Ministry in Center City, Philadelphia. These two congregations are on a rapid growth trajectory and are composed of every imaginable diversity. Together these communities share deep commitments to justice, compassion and artistic expression.
Bill was named one of Philadelphia's Emerging Connectors by Leadership Philadelphia in 2010 and was appointed by Mayor Michael Nutter to Chair Philadelphia's Food Access Collaborative which exists to ensure greater access for all Philadelphians to healthy, safe and abundant food regardless of their socioeconomic position. He is nominated in 2013 to receive the Philadelphia Award which goes to the citizen who makes the city and the region more prosperous, efficient and beautiful by enriching, educating, inspiring and caring for those who live there.
He is an active member of boards of organizations that are driving new solutions and approaches to the challenges of the achievement gap, urban sustainability, economic development, as well as the performing and visual arts. He has taught courses on Leadership and Pastoral Identity at Union Theological Seminary in New York City and Princeton Theological Seminary. Bill is married to his wife Julie and is the proud father of two sons, Sebastian (7) and Deacon (4),.
Associate pastor, St. John's Presbyterian Church (San Francisco)
Theresa Cho is a pastor at St. John’s Presbyterian Church in San Francisco, a 170-member urban congregation. She is active in all levels of the PC(USA), including youth conferences, women leadership conferences, Peacemaking Conferences, General Assembly Committees, and recently served as Moderator for the Presbytery of San Francisco.
She has had a variety of life experiences that include teaching children with special needs and working in a multi-racial urban congregation in Chicago and Seoul, Korea. All this contributes to her passion for child advocacy, creating intergenerational worship experiences, and urban ministry. She has published articles and contributed to Christian Century, Sojourners God’s Politics, other blog sites, and books.
